There are two key election days in 2018: 

  • The Democratic primary election: Tuesday, May 15th, 2018
  • 2018 general election: November 6th, 2018

How do I request an Absentee Ballot? Am I eligible to vote with an Absentee Ballot?

Absentee ballots are mail-in ballots for residents of PA-11 who are unable to make it to their home polling location on election day. They’re ideal for college students, deployed military persons, travelers with schedule conflicts, voters with disabilities, and more.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is October 30, 2018.

There are multiple ways to apply for an absentee ballot, including: applying in Person at your County Election Office, Completing an Official Form, Sending a signed letter to your County Election Office. Learn more here.

You’ll receive an envelope in the mail at your home address which will contain a paper ballot, a return envelope, an instructions on how to fill it out. Mark your vote, place the ballot in the return envelope, pay for postage, and put it in the mailbox.

Your absentee ballot must be received by November 2 to count for the November 6 election, so it’s important to fill it out as soon as possible.

Do I need to bring anything with me when I go to my polling place?
